All crimes described in police media releases are allegations. Named suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

Otsego County District Attorney John Muehl says Bradley C. Cook of Oneonta, 21, is facing up to 50 years in prison following his conviction of multiple sex crimes against a child. According to Muehl, a jury found Cook guilty of engaging in sex acts on two occasions with a child younger than 11 years old. Sentencing scheduled for June 24th.

36 year-old Jonas Whaley, of Chenango County, has pleaded guilty to federal drug and weapons charges. The U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of New York says Whaley was selling methamphetamine, and possessed multiple guns, which he used while trafficking in illegal drugs. Sentencing is set for Aug. 23. Whaley is facing a minimum of 10 years and up to life in prison.

State police based in Oneonta arrested Joshua R. Condon, 40, of Hartwick, on charges of sexual assaults in Delaware and Otsego counties. Authorities allege Condon raped and sexually abused two victims under the age of 13 on multiple occasions. In a related case, 34 year-old Jessica Bresee, of Hartwick, is charged with multiple felonies. Authorities claim she knew about the alleged crimes, did not report them to police and helped Condon avoid detection.

Delaware County deputies arrested Kassondra Pierce, 29, of Walton and charged her with driving with a suspended license and leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in property damage. Pierce was ordered to appear in Town of Hamden Court at a later date to answer the charges.
