Attempted Abduction Reported In Cobleskill

The Cobleskill Police Department reports that on September 29 a female SUNY Cobleskill student was victim of an attempted abduction on MacArthur Avenue in the village.  The unidentified student reported that she had been walking on MacArthur Avenue towards the SUNY Cobleskill campus at around 2:30 a.m. that morning when she was approached from behind by an unknown male who attempted to physically restrain her, but was unsuccessful in doing so when she fought him off.  The male perpetrator then fled the area in a vehicle being driven by a second unknown male.
