With the Christmas shopping season is underway authorities are warning consumers to be especially vigilant to the possibilities of theft, especially in store parking lots. Experts say to make absolutely sure you lock your vehicle at all times – even if just running into a store for a few minutes. Also, make sure that anything of value in your vehicle – including the spare change in the center console – is hidden from sight. Finally if you don’t feel secure taking packages to your car alone ask the store if you can get an escort.
