Be an Extra in an HBO Series Filming in New York

Have you ever wanted to be in a movie? Here's your chance to be an extra in a big production that is filming in Upstate New York in May.

I've been an extra on a couple of movies and it's really fun. I was an extra in "Airborne" a 90s inline skater movie that was shot in Cincinnati. I did get to hang out with a very young Jack Black and Seth Green who were in the movie. If you get a chance to be an extra you should take it. You end up standing around a lot, but you learn about film production and all the behind-the-scenes stuff that goes into making a movie.

Woody Harrison and Justin Theroux are starring in an HBO series that is set in the 70s. The series will tell the true story of how Nixon’s own political saboteurs and Watergate masterminds, E. Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy accidentally toppled the presidency they were trying to protect. The series is called The White House Plumbers.

Filming will happen in May in the Hudson Valley and they need a bunch of extras for the shoot. According to the casting site, "Applicants must be ok working around smoke and have natural-colored hair." So break out your bell-bottoms and wide ties and apply to be an extra at https://www.gwcionlocation.com/hudson-valley.

Not only are they looking for people as extras they are also looking for vintage cars to be extras too. So, if you have a vintage 60s or 70s car, truck, Jeep, or van they would like to talk to you too. If you're selected you and your vehicle would be extras on the HBO shoot. According to the casting site, please email a current photo of yourself and your vehicle.
