Casino License Approvals Near For Upstate New York
Applicants for the four upstate New York casino licenses being granted this year are promising more jobs and tax revenue if they are allowed to develop resorts. The New York Gaming Facility Location Board on Tuesday released the executive summaries that were submitted with the 17 casino applications last week. For instance, Tioga Downs Casino, Racing and Entertainment said its casino would generate $122 million in annual revenue within two years.
