Chenango County Man Arrested on Stolen Firearms Charges
The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Village of Sherburne man on April 3rd on burglary and grand larceny charges.
Jason L. Wheeler, 32, was arrested at the Wyoming State Correctional Facility on a warrant issued by the Town of Sherburne for Burglary 2nd degree and Grand Larceny 4th degree. Both are felonies. An investigation into firearms reported stolen from a residence in April 2012 lead to a warrant for his arrest being issued.
Wheeler was arraigned in the Town of Sherburne court and remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on $5,000 cash bail.
