Destination Oneonta, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Oneonta, and bringing family fun events to the "City of the Hills" has gotten the go-ahead to add six more community events to the 2022 calendar, one of which is coming up very soon.

On April 9 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Foothills Performing Arts Center, the Easter Bunny will be visiting with children. This is a great photo opportunity to take pictures of special kids in your life with the Easter Bunny. There are opportunities to win one of three Easter basket giveaways donated by Mathilda Jean Boutique in Oneonta, Amish Barn Company, and Chestnut Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Kids can also enter a coloring contest and grab a goodie bag to take home (one per child). This is a free event and DO asks attendees to please wear a mask. Held in conjunction with this Easter Bunny event will be the Oneonta's Farmer's Market which is always held on Saturdays at Foothills from 9:00 am to noon in the atrium.

Here are other upcoming events in 2022 from DO:

Considering how many community events have had to fall by the wayside in the last two years because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are all looking forward to the added DO opportunities to get out and enjoy all that Oneonta has to offer!
