Endwell Man Allegedly Flees Police After Firing 12-Gauge in Home

State police at Endwell responded to a 911 call Thursday night to an Endwell residence reporting a disturbed man in an upstairs bedroom firing a 12-gauge shotgun into the walls and floor.

William R. Yeager, 22, of the same residence in Endwell fled the residence on foot but was captured a short distance away. Yeager was charged with reckless endangerment 1st degree, a Class D felony.

He was arraigned in Town of Union court and remanded to the Broome County jail.
