"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." That well-known quote is from "The Mourning Bride, by playwright William Congreve. It was written to convey the thought that there was no greater wrath than that of a woman who has been hurt in love.

That line was written nearly 325 years ago, and it is still used to this day. Why is it still used to this day? Because it still appears to be very, very true.

There's also the quote, "The best revenge is living well". That sounds all fine and dandy, but sometimes it just feels good to get the last punch in before you go off on that "living well" quest.

The Lake Arthur Police Department wants to provide people a little help with that last punch: they are offering to arrest your ex.

Titled "Valentine's Day Special", the Lake Arthur Police Department will provide jewelry for the evening, at least one night's accommodations, photos for online sharing, and a great story for you to tell your mom & 'em.

All you have to do to take advantage of the special is provide information on your ex - rat them out, so to speak. Snitch on them. Tell the Lake Arthur PD where they hide their drugs or other illegal substances.

What's the upside for the arrested ex? Well, for one thing, the arrest may send them on their way to getting right with society. As a bonus, tattoos are very cheap in prison.

A word of caution before you start making calls to the Lake Arthur Police Department: if you provide false information, you'll find out that the jewelry they are offering for the evening is one-size-fits-all, so be certain that you aren't making stuff up.

In all seriousness, I do like the fact that the Lake Arthur Police Department has a sense of humor!
