The Town of Delhi is the recipient of a $75,000 state grant to help pay for the purchase of a tandem dump/plow truck for its Highway Department. According to NY State Senator John Bonacic New York’s State and Municipal Facilities Program is making the money available from funding which was appropriated in the 2016-2017 State Budget. The town’s current truck is nearly 20 years old and according to officials has become too expensive to maintain and repair.
