There's a lot of pressure around the holidays to have your whole life figured out. Seeing family that you only see this time of the year, and they always have questions about how school is going, who you're seeing now, what your plans are for the next year, etc. It can feel very overwhelming!

Coping with the pressures to be with someone around the holidays is tough, but the best thing you can do is re-frame your thinking. You don't need to be in a relationship to feel like you're moving forward in life. If your family members ask you, you can tell them that you're more focused on your schooling/career at the moment and you're enjoying life exactly as it is right now.

These holidays, these expectations should be taken with a grain of salt because if you're single now, you won't always be single, and then these holidays will just be a blip on your radar. You won't look back and think about these things anymore. You got this!
