New Yorkers Eye Massive $815 Million Powerball Jackpot
The Powerball prize pool just keeps climbing, now hitting an incredible $815 million ahead of tonight's night’s drawing. That makes it the seventh-largest jackpot in Powerball history.
Whoever wins the Powerball will face a choice: take the full amount in annual payments spread over 30 years, or grab the lump sum, which comes to an estimated $367.9 million.
No Jackpot Winner Yet
The jackpot rolled over again after no ticket matched all six winning numbers in Monday night’s drawing. The numbers drawn were 16, 19, 34, 37, and 64, with the Powerball number 22 and a Power Play multiplier of 3.

Even without a jackpot winner, several players struck it big. Two lucky tickets, one in Georgia and one in Texas, matched all five white balls and are now worth $1 million each. Another 26 tickets across the country earned $50,000 prizes, while five players who opted for Power Play saw their winnings boosted to $150,000.
Extra Chances With Double Play
Players who added the Double Play® option for $1 had another shot at prizes in a separate drawing. This time, a Maryland ticket matched all five numbers to snag $500,000. Double Play gives players a second chance to win up to $10 million using the same set of numbers they picked for the main game.
Longest Jackpot Streak of the Year
Wednesday’s drawing will be the 38th in a row without a jackpot winner. The last time someone hit the big one was back on May 31, 2025, in California. That long stretch without a top prize is part of the reason the jackpot has ballooned so high.
How New Yorkers Can Play
Powerball tickets cost $2 each, and you can pick one up at authorized retailers all across New York state. Players choose five numbers between 1 and 69 plus one Powerball number between 1 and 26, or let the machine generate the picks.
