This year's tree, sourced from Vestal, New York, is a sight to behold, standing tall at 80 feet and weighing an astonishing 12 tons. The tree is 43 feet in diameter and is believed to be 80 to 85 years old. The tree was donated by the McGinley family.

On November 9, 2023, the Norway Spruce from Vestal will be cut, before making its way to Rockefeller Center, arriving at the Rockefeller Center Plaza on Saturday, November 11.

Once the tree arrives at Rockefeller Center, it will undergo a dazzling transformation, wrapped in over 50,000 multi-colored, energy-efficient LED lights and adorned with a stunning Swarovski star. Finally, the tree will be revealed in all its splendor during the live broadcast of "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" on November 29, 2023.

Visitors will be able to marvel at the beauty of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree from its debut until January 13, 2024, at which point it will be taken down at 10:00 p.m. When the tree is taken down, it will be milled into lumber and donated to Habitat for Humanity.
