
Basketball Season Is Heating Up For The Bearcats
This time of the year is a sports lover's favorite. Football is in high gear for professional, college, and high school. Baseball is in World Series mode, professional hockey has begun, and basketball season is ready to go for professional, college, and soon, high school.

Speaking of college basketball, the Binghamton Bearcats Men's and Women's teams are set to begin their 2025-26 season. The first Coach's Show on WNBF Radio (1290 AM, 92.1 FM Binghamton), WNBF.com, and the WNBF App is set to begin tonight (October 27) at 6 p.m.
Roger Neel hosts again this season, interviewing the coaches and players as they gear up for another exciting season. The Coaches Show airs on the first Monday of the month through March 2026.
The regular season for both teams kicks off Monday, November 3rd, with the men traveling to the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse to take on the Orange. Game time is 7 p.m., with the pre-game show beginning at 6:45 p.m. Roger Neel will be your play-by-play announcer.
Some exciting games for the Men's team include Georgetown University on November 12th, Longwood University on November 15th, and the University of Pittsburgh on December 17th. Levell Sanders returns as head coach for the Men's team.
The BU Women's team begins its season at home in the Events Center against SUNY Geneseo. Game time is 5 p.m. with the pregame show to begin at 4:45 p.m. You can hear all games on Kiss 104.1 with play-by-play announcer, is Michael Tricarico. Michael hails from Syracuse and is the main play-by-play broadcaster for the Syracuse Mets.
Some exciting games for the Women's team include the University of Michigan on November 18, the University of San Diego on December 3rd, and Columbia University on November 24th. Mary Grimes returns as head coach for the Women's team.
