Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 Screens Show the Return of Fang

Get ready to see another familiar face in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13, because Oerba Yun Fang is joining forces with Lightning once more.

A slew of new screenshots heralds the return of Fang, the l'Cie who fought with Lightning, Vanille and the rest of the crew in Final Fantasy 13. After spending some time as a crystal pillar that kept Cocoon and Pulse from being obliterated via collision, Fang awoke and and headed to the Dead Dunes. Her journey led her to search for a long-lost relic, but she was never seen again.

Fang and Lightning hook up again and explore some ruins that lie beneath the sands of the Dead Dunes. Check out the screens below to see the old friends do what they do best and destroy monsters en masse. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 will be released on Feb. 11, 2014 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
