Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila have announced they are going to host a virtual benefit in the next few weeks for Texas, in part by teaming up with their 'just keep livin' Foundation in an effort to, "help Texas get back on its feet."

The just keep livin' relief efforts page offers, "Camila, Matthew and the' just keep livin' team has been working urgently alongside some great organizations on the ground to offer aid to those in need. We are putting together a virtual benefit to take place within the next two weeks to raise funds for the long-term efforts necessary to stabilize and rebuild Texas, so check back often for updates"

Matthew turned to social media announcing on his '@officallymcconaughey' Instagram page which you can access here, that a virtual benefit is on the way for Texans who are in need.

The McConaughey's just keep livin' Foundation is "dedicated to empowering high school students by providing them with the tools to lead active lives and make healthy choices for a better future," and currently serves more than 2,500 students at 37 programs located in California, Louisiana, New York, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington D.C.

In his announcement, Matthew reiterated that right now is a good time for Texans to check on each other, offering kindly, 'Go knock on a door, "go help a neighbor."

Matthew also committed to offering daily posts for Texans on his Instagram page to help Texans with things like resource locations and volunteer opportunities. The just keep livin' page reiterated that the McConaugheys will be posting daily to "share information including ways to stay safe, how to access available resources, and opportunities to volunteer and support those in need."
