Public Help Needed: Walton Man Missing And He’s Not The Only One In Central New York
In terms of locating missing persons or those who can't be located but are wanted by law enforcement, the more people that know, the better to find those individuals. The New York State Police have listed people in our Central New York region who are missing.
People who are missing:
Last seen 2/9/2022: A man from Walton, Steve Farleigh (no photo available), has been missing since last week and according to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, it's believed that Farleigh may have gone for a hike in the Catskills. Farleigh's vehicle is a light blue 2010 Subaru Outback with license plate number CAP9551. Call the Walton Police Department, The Delaware County Sheriff's Office (607-832-6900) or State Police if you have any information on his whereabouts.
Last seen 1/2003: Herman Arbas from Laurens. This photo was taken several years before he disappeared so his appearance will likely be greatly changed. He is 5'9" and is either bald at this point or with some short gray hair. Missing since 06/24/2000: Harriet Olsen from her home on Fletcher Farm Road in Franklin. Olsen is 5'5" with hazel eyes. It's believed that Olsen may have been disoriented when she disappeared and she may have headed back to her previous home in Wethersfield, CT. Missing since 10/13/1986: Erica Jane Poprafsky from Middleburgh. Poprafsky is 5'4" with brown eyes. Police believe she was the victim of foul play. Anyone with information should call New York State Police at Princetown, N.Y. at (518) 630-1700 or e-mail the information to: nysvicap@troopers.ny.gov.
