New Yorkers enrolled in the Affordable Care Act in record numbers this year. That’s according to the New York State of Health – the state’s official health plan Marketplace which reports more than 4.7 million people signed up before enrollment closed on Saturday, December 15. Around two-thirds of those who signed up enrolled with Medicaid. The agency also ways enrollment volumes in Qualified Health Plans and the Essential Plan outpaced last year’s levels.
