Oneonta Police Make Arrest in Child Endangerment Incident

The City of Oneonta Police Department responded to report of a disturbance Monday afternoon at the Town House Motor Inn. Upon arrival at 318 Main St. Oneonta, the officers investigated a dispute between two parties that allegedly involved a physical confrontation in the presence of their infant child. The subsequent investigation into the incident resulted in the arrest of 29 year-old Heather Wright of Oneonta for 2nd degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. The infant child sustained serious physical injuries during the dispute and has been admitted to a hospital for treatment.
