Purple Rain Celebrates 30 Years [Videos]

Yesterday marked the 30th Anniversary for the movie and soundtrack, "Purple Rain".  This, in my opinion is one of the best movie soundtracks ever.  Who can deny the huge hits, "Let's Go Crazy", "I Would Die 4 U", "Darling Nikki", "When Doves Cry" and the feature ballad, "Purple Rain."

I can still put this soundtrack on and be blown away.  This was Prince's sixth studio album.  He is a true artist and this is his masterpiece.  The movie debuted at number one and the soundtrack has sold 20+ million copies to date, producing two number one songs.  "When Doves Cry" was number one for five weeks on Billboard and "Let's Go Crazy" was number one for two weeks.
