Sayre Man Arrested in Waverly for Drugs
A Sayre, Pennsylvania man is charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and lesser counts after Waverly Police went to the Dandy Mini Mart parking lot to serve a warrant at 12:38 a.m. May 1.
Police say 35 year old Christopher Sutton was a passenger in a parked vehicle and found to be in possession of several “charged” hypodermic needles, a plastic container with several narcotic pills, drug-related packaging items and methamphetamine packaged for sale.
Authorities say Sutton was charged with three misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and one misdemeanor count each of criminal possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle.
He was sent to the Tioga County Jail on $25,000 bail.
Another passenger in the vehicle, 34 year old Keegan Brown of Lockwood, New York was arrested on an active warrant from the Elmira Police where he was wanted for petit larceny.
