
Winter Storm Watch For The Weekend
The National Weather Service at Binghamton has issued a Winter Storm Watch for central New York over the weekend.
A widespread four to five inches of snow is forecast at this time with the potential for six to seven inches.
Snow is expected to develop Friday night and early Saturday with snowfall becoming heavier through Saturday afternoon and evening before tapering off by Sunday morning.
Travel is expected to be hazardous due to snow-covered roads. Anyone planning weekend travel should monitor conditions.
